SITE DESIGN
FINAL PROJECT
This is an advanced course in the utilization of engineering and architectural principles from concept through the construction techniques of traditional and sustainable site development. Site planning techniques, municipal land development requirements, zoning regulations, soil stabilization techniques, erosion control parameters, stormwater management practices, and site construction details are applied to a site design project.

The brief of the final project was to combine all of the previously learned topics and apply them to a given scenario. The project was completed in pairs, with the final requirements including a demolition plan, a proposed site plan, a drainage and septic system plan, cut and fill calculations for contour alterations, details of relevant site features, and proposed and existing site models. The outline for my group was to locate a 3,000 SF bank and a UPS warehouse on a given site. Contours had to be adjusted to suit the building design and site drainage, and consideration had to be made for number of parking spaces, site circulation, impact on the environment and neighboring sites, as well as other factors. Below are the two study models created and the final pdf of drawings.
